Elderly Challenge - Observation 2
I observed that climbing the stairs for the elderly can be dangerous as they might slip and fall as their bones get weaker. The picture is of my grandmother walking up the stairs in the house. Her knees have already gone weak and have difficulty walking up the stairs and far distances, so she would only climb the stairs in the day and at night.

Elderly Challenge - Observation 1
I noticed that at the fitness corner, there were elderly doing their exercises. Those exercise stations gave the elderly the exercises they need. It is quite boring for them to be cooped up at home all day so they would come out and take a walk.

Personal Reflection (NEWater visit)
1. What are the 3 key takeaways from today’s visit?
- NEWater must be mixed with reservoir water before consumption.
- Currently there are only 4 national taps in Singapore.
- NEWater are mostly used for Industrial.
2. Name 2 concepts that you have learnt today during the visit.
- The process of the NEWater treatment.
- Ultraviolet cannot be used at the beginning because the dead organisms will still stay in the water after being killed.
3. What is the 1 interesting thing that you have learnt today?
- There is unlikely to be any bacteria or viruses at the 3rd stage of the treatment. The 3rd stage is used as a safety back-up.
4. What are the things that you can do to help with water conservation in Singapore?
- Remind others not to waste water and think up fun ways to remember myself and others to conserve water.

Fortnight Assignment
My theme is: Perspectives
The top picture and the bottom all has the perspective of the path getting smaller.
This bridge has a very nice curve in the railings and path. I took the first curve of the railing to make the bridge look like it swerved.
I was very intrigued by the curvature of the leaves and how the sun shines on them and made it look very confusing, yet beautiful. Though, do not think this came under the theme.
This picture was exactly what I had in mind. Big steps at first going upwards before becoming smaller. The perspective from the bottom of the steps.
This is a picture that you normally see, all the pillars looks like they are getting smaller until they reached the end.
Although this picture is not related to the theme, I found this picture nice. All the red spikes that were coming from the stems looked pretty cool. You may relate it to people that has bad sides underneath all the leaves.
I like the scenery along the path. It is a nice contrast between the red pebbles and the plants. It looks very peaceful, like nothings been touched and everything is in place.
The roots clasping onto the pole are orchid's roots. They look like they are striving towards the sky and fighting to be the first to reach the top. This resembles some of us, all wanting to top the charts in some areas.
This is the last picture I took before my camera battery left me to take pictures with my mind's eye. I chose this picture because all the leaves are sprouting from center of the picture. The leaf that is leading to the center has the a really nice "zoom in" effect. The perspective from the tip of the leaf.
All these photos were taken in Singapore Botanical Gardens.
Restating The Problems
1. Water pollution
Restated: How can we encourage SST students to save and use water only when in need?
2. Littering
Restated: How can we cultivate SST students the habit of not littering so that they will not litter in school and as well as outside of school?
3. Wasting electricity
Restated: How can we remind SST students to turn off the fans and air-conditioner before leaving the classroom?
